maintaning arb compressor

There was a link to an article about ARB compressor mainanance and rebuilding a while ago, can anyone direct me to it?

If there is a write up, or if someone could do one that'd be sweet....as I think the one in the zook is on its last legs...its sounds horrible when its running....

the inlet and exhaust valves are made of plastic and after a while fatigue to the point of desintigration. doesnt cost much for spares just hard to find them in stock.

ps: if it sounds like a bucket of bolts when its running (not unlike a nissan)then its on its last legs.

my arb compressor sounds like its about to throw a rod out the side , i dont htink its even worth rebuidling

How hard is it to rebuild :??????????

you should always deflate the air tank when finished with the comp

also you can tank the air tank off and give it a quick wipe out incase of any condensation
