6.2L Lwr Rad Hose Dia ?

For the 6.2 owners out there, what diameter lower radiator hose are you using ? The waterpump casting is about 54mm (2-1/8") but I cant get hose that size. Will a 2" hose squeeze over ?
My radiator man can't get a 2-1/8" fitting for the radiator, and 2-1/4 seems too large.
I hope 2" hose will work. I intend using a 2" 90 degree exhaust tube elbow and two short 2" pieces of hose to make a hose assembly. I can't source a preformed hose which fits just right.

I've used 2 1/4" ID hose on the humvee when the bottom hose let go, was loose fit but just tightened the clamp up and it worked ok till I could get the proper hose.
What sort of shape do you need as the bottom hose on a Hummer/Humvee is two piece with a short bit (6"long) which goes from the waterpump to the metal pipe in the middle and a long (15" at a guess) which has a big S bend (or two right angles if you prefer)
either might do the trick, easily available too.

Thanks Peter. I really only need a simple 90 degree bend, I guess I was lucky where everything turned out. 6-1/2" down from the waterpump, then right angle, then 9-1/2" to the rad.
I think I'll go with the bent pipe idea as I can play with 2" and 2-1/4" and just cut straight hose to fit both ends. When I get it right I'll probably buy a stainless elbow. Makes for easy repairs in the bush as I only need to carry straight hose.
Cool vehicle BTW. What transmission do they run ? I'm seriously considering an auto behind mine.

I was chasing that same hose in mine about 6 months ago. I went to Radiator places and the just said nup, nuthin like that here... got sent to truck places and they couldn't help me either... even tried Pertek.
Then got onto a very helpful bloke down at the local Bullseye store, he pulled the hoses catl-dog out and voila... there is a hose with the right diameter, angle & length, but I needed to trim one end down a tad to fit nicely to the radiator. From memory, was like $35-45 just for that one hose though, so not really cheap.

Turbo 400 and NP218 transfer, one day I'll stuff a 4L80 and 242 in (that's what the civilian Hummers and new military trucks run.
