I picked up a very nice bar and plate cooler out of a stock turbo skyline for $20 off ebay, and a tiny sequential turbo setup for $150, again off ebay, both for the zook, if you know what youre looking for you can get stuff dirt cheap.
AirResearch turbos are top shelf stuff too if anyone buys this.

i dont see a point in the intercooler being in there. maybe its just a 'suck you in' ploy to make you bid/buy the turbo.
the set up uses the carby as a draw through set up, and not a blow through like other carby set ups, so i can see the fuel/air mixture getting blown through the inter-cooler. and if you are serious about this, you might need water/methenol injection somewhere too.
the carby hasnt been used, and the set up hasnt been tested. but also doesnt mean it wont work. the manifold could be made up a bit better too. there is also no intake manifold either, so you might have to make one up. more work and $$$.
anyway, i'm not bagging the set up or the seller, i just thought maybe i could bring up other points to consider.

Back in the very early 80's My brother and me played with suck through set up. If you used the cooler, the lag would be like waiting for Xmas on the 26th December.
