I am putting a direct injection engine 14B into a indirect injection 4x4 3B the car has no return line which is needed for direct injection. I have been told that you dont need to run a complete return line back to the tank, all I have to do is tap it back into the fuel in line. What is the opinion of the experts of this forum on this matter.
Cheers.
Dave.

if you taped it back into the fuel line before the pump it should work.

I put a 13BT (direct injection as well) into my midi, use to be 3B. I tapped back into fuel line using a T piece before the pump and has been running fine for a month now. have done over 4000kms no probs yet.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for that. I have asked two local mechanics about it one said it would cause problems because it would not be pressurised and therefore could suck in air. The other bloke reckons it would over pressurise
