I got problems, Big problems, did an oil change and a tune up on the sierra last night and this morning when i went to drive it it wouldnt run properly so on further investigation i found the following:
1- no water in radiator or overflow bottle. both were full night b4
2- milky oil and not just in oil cap. all oil was like milk.

possible causes? head gasket? cracked head? hole in clynder wall to water jacket?

have had head gaskets go but not this quickly or severly.

tune up = change oil and filter, check, clean and regap plugs, check timing and set at 12degs (i have a weber) and clean out crap from weber buy reving up motor and covering intake and repeat 3 times. adjust idle then test drive . come back and recheck water and oil levels and timing.

what are the differences in a carby 1.6 vit block? will they bolt in with the stock sierra mounts and bell housing? or are new ones needed. Thinking now is a good time to put in a carby 1.6 engine.

another excuse... time for a compression test, it'll give ya a better idea on if its head/gasket.

That 4age I offered ya is coming outta the car in the next few weeks, could be a lucky coincedence
