Ok First of all, anyone know a decent Mechanic who is good with gas systems and tuning up the TB42 carby motor? My car is running a bit slugish and as I have just got it feel it would benefit from new leads, plugs and a general tune up.

Secondly. the stupid sliding windows on the SWB'sthe rails were so rusted a window actually got pushed out when some muppet was trying to open it while in my car.. therefore smashing the sliding part of the window to bits and munting the rails to death.

So basically what im in need of is the new rails/sliders whatever you lot call them and the front section of the window(the moving section). So basically whats the go with these things? Are they easy to get a hold of? And where abouts can they be purchased from? I am in teh Soth Eastern suburbs by the way.

Umm i did do a search, found a bit about windows but most of it covered the rubber seals.. which I am probly in need of aswell, but my main concern is the slider bits atm, which i had difficultties finding info on I did read up somewehre you can get alloy aftermarket ones??, so any help from the knoledgable ones on these above topics would be a great help!

Rhys.

There was a marine place in WA who were manufacturing them but now I think they will only do it on bulk order.
