I've heard that someone has put a 2.5 V6 from a GV into a 2.0 V6 Vit and I think it may have been in Sydney but not sure. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

This is getting easier the more I learn :D There are some pretty helpful people around too  The 2.5 block will bolt straight in, no fabbing of mounts required.

why not go that little bit more stick a 2.7 in it they will do the same

Apparently the 2.7 is a bit more involved. The 2.5 only needs a couple of minor things for it to be a bolt-in turnkey conversion. Simple is good. Plus the Engineer is good a 2.5 swap.

i have a 2.5 and slotted a 2.7 straight in without swapping computers or any wireing

Sounds good, somebody told me that the 2.7 was a bit more inolved where as the 2.5 was a straight swap but if that's the case then I'll have a look at it.

Any chance of posting some more info on this?
I just went through a $3500 engine rebuild on my 2ltr GV because I was told that a 2.5 is a no go......
wish I knew.....
