Gutlless & Polar Bear,
Who are you insured with? I had quite a discussion insuring mine with Just Cars, although I'm happy with them just now. They were OK about insuring it including the fact it had been modified, but had no luck insuring it for anything more than market value of a stock model of my year (88.5)? Of course it's arguable whether it's worth more or less than a stock model anyway

Whilst you're paying for $7500 worth of car are you sure they'll pay out more than market value? Maybe it's time for me to shop around again

Insured Value - Agreed $45000
Excess: $500 if at fault, $0 is not at fault, $1500 if not listed on policy, no age restrictions
Covered 'off-road' but no comp work, have off-road tyres and off-road suspension listed on policy.
Annual cost $1400 or there abouts, with GIO, business insurance.

I am guessing that is not the 74-lj for that amount.
