I was going to but since I`d be one of the 1st to not be exccept because of my compition record I decided not to enter and just do XRCC NSW (maybe), Nissan Trials, Woodpecker.

Plus with not having any comps on untill basicly november it will allow me to save a bit of money for a change :D

My brother has been accepted in and asked me to be his spotter, so it looks like I`ll be there anyway.

Victorian 4WD
Winch Challenge

19 & 21 September 2003
Bindaree Willow Grove

This exciting event is being run by Victorias 20 most recognised competitors for those who have not had a great deal or no event experience and those who organise other events.

To qualify, participants must be a member of a 4WD Club affiliated in VAFWDC (or other state) as this is a club spirited event. All vehicles must have a front mounted winch and comply with Production or Production Modified classes as per the Drivers Association rules. Diff locks and aggressive tyres will offer an obvious advantage. Further, you must not have finished in the top ten places of any of Ateco Winch Challenge, Outback Challenge or X-Treme Winch Challenges and if overwhelmed by applications the qualification process will discredit those who have competed on the most frequent basis.

The event will begin with a prologue on Friday night and there will be 12 challenging special stages over the weekend designed to test driver and co-driver skills, team work and vehicle capabilities. special stages are not designed to damage vehicles. Experienced drivers will drive "Car Zero" to demonstrate the course and competitors will also have opportunities to spectate.

The Dandenong Ranges 4WD Club is host club this year. We can look forward to their unbridled enthusiasm and creativity in managing the property, gates, catering, bookings and administration.

The cost of entry is $280 and this will cover meals (excluding lunches) for drivers and co drivers. No other passengers are permitted in competing vehicles. Friends may spectate and pay $10 per person on Sunday only .as there will be no spectator viewing on Friday night or saturday Note the venue only caters for competitor camping, For further details, email
