Im not sure sure about the winscreen fold down, but the coils - all round - sierra started in 1996 and ended 1998 before it went to the jimny
i think the windscreen is the same, due to the windscreen on the coiler being its main structural pillar, apparently if you break that, the car is considered a write off.....or jou have to replace the body with a new one.
someone is BOUND to correct me if i'm wrong.

as STU said, the coiler has an integrate a-pillar/windshield which is damaged enough would make the tub a write off, therefore the vehicle a write off.
the coilers where the first with the integrated a-pillar/winshield frame. before that there was the OPTION of a fold down windshield.
note: not all sierras/drovers came with the option installed. some where fixed bracket design and most others had the clamp release installed.
most models you look at in AUS will have the clamp down/fold down system installed, prior to 1996 models.
STU do you mean

STU do you mean that coils are on all 4 corners or just front??
I thought coil fronts started in 1994
.
Which year 1990 or younger is the best for a daily driver and a weekend fun hill hack? With a fold down windscreen.
Thanks
