Ok I got a Queensland transport inspection tomorrow and now my electricals have decided to stuff up. All I have done is disconnect the indicators and parkers and reconnect them and now when I turn the parkers to on or press the brake pedal my high beam dashlight comes on and my clock goes off but neither my brake lights or parkers with work!! What on earth could be happening? I did reconnect my earth and parkers around the wrong way at first could this have shorted it out? Also my clock has reset and i didnt disconnect the battery...any ideas coz this is looking bad!!!

you may have shorted it out and blown a fuse. the high beam indicator comes on when a fuse is blown.
it came on when mine blew!
it should only short if the lights were on and you put the positive onto the body, but yeah definantly check your fuses.
good luck
auto electrics suck, and I'm a leco!
earths are a major problem and cause all sorts of weird stuff to happen.
but thats prob not your problem.

Thanks guys...ashley you are right...I did short the parkers coz I touched them on the body when reconnecting and there was sparkes. Just checked and the tail/stop light fuse was blown. Does that fuse run the parkers too or is that with the headlights? Problem is I replaced the fuse and they are still not working but the fuse isnt blowing either?? Also found when I turn on to parkers the clock goes and when it comes back on it is reset...does that mean its shorting through the parking light switch? What do I do to fix this? High beam light still comes on too.

By the way go and buy a test light. Best and quickest way to find dud fuses, get a good one though.
Get a good earth, key is always good and turn on your lights etc and then touch the point to the exposed metal in each fuse that will find the dud fuses fast. No light both sides dud.
Good Luck.
