I have absolute respect for his fabbing ability. I have seen his work both here and on Pirate. No disrespect meant to Ehsan.
Still doesn't change my attitude to that advertisement, as we once had an old Austin A40 (base of the Indian derived vehicle in the ad). In all honesty that thing would have moved/holed the brick walls rather than dent.
(anything's funny after being awake for ~30hrs...)

Would need a couple in hand to make the die.. What is it used for exactly.

It surrounds the lock barrel on the boot/trunk. Great work as always.
You can see one if you look closely at this pic.

That would be easy to make and cheap too depending on the number of pieces required.

no thats a ht monaro, they were only on the hk.

There were a total of mabe 5000 HK gts made in 1968/1969. So mabe 20 or 30 would cover the shortage. I have one of these left at home, so i will try and machine one up out of billet at work and send it over. I'll keep you posted.

Not according to the ebay link you posted.

doesnt matter what the seller advertised it for, they only came out on the hk gts with the full length alloy boot strip. the ht/hg had the same boot/lock as the ht/hg sedan.
