window question

I have a HJ60 and at the end of march its gettin chopped to a king cab. We are thinking of using the sliding windows (in rear) to make a small window in the king cab section. But I was told today that those windows are easily sold for good money.

Is this true?...I know anyone looking for a set would say "no, they aint worth anything"...So i am relying on the honesty factor here.

thanks

The sliding windows are made from safety glass the kind that shatters into a million bits and it is very hard to get cut ($$$$$$$)

You can't cut safety glass once it's been tempered, but as long as the glass is flat, you can replace it with the equivalent thickness in laminated. That way you could cut the frames down (if that's what you want to do) to whatever size you like :D As well as that, you have enormous possibilities with glass colour etc.
