Hi all, has anyone had any problems with the body/floor mounts cracking
when a body lift of 30 to 50 mm is installed?
Some Patrol & Cruiser drivers report this & the cost of repair is usually
$1000 + .

Thanks Steve.

No I havent found this yet.

Use steel for the spacer limits movement and stress cracking.

50mm round with 11mm hole through.

I disagree, I used 100mm round nylon in my GQ for 4yrs in my GQ and not 1 crack, my mates who used 50 or 75mm steel all had to repair the holes in their floors.

You want to spread the load as much as possible. You also want to check you bolts at every service to make sure they remain tight.

May work on a nissan but you cannot fit 100mm spacer on a RR.

RR has an out rigger with a 30mm steel upstand with a metal washer, rubber then body mounts washers are 50mm diam.

I think the nissan has a much larger mounting surface as you say.

No worries, I haven't looked at a bodylift yet on the rangie.

Could you not plate the outrigger?
