Bought GV Have Questions

Hello,
I've recently purchase purchased a 2001 GrandVitara. I've been looking through this forum and other places online where I could find information on getting the GV a little more capable off road. I don't do anything hardcore, just sand and snow, no rock crawling. I've just ordered a set of 235/75/16 and plan on fitting these without a lift. I know some "alterations" will be required to the plastic pieces and will do that accordingly. I was going to go with the OME coils and spacers later on, but that's about it. Will the 2 inches of lift become a problem for my IFS? If so I'll just stick with the OME coils/struts/shocks to improve the ride and call it good with a 1" lift. I just changed all the diff and transfer case fluids and it looks like I have the alloy front diff case, it looks like aluminium. Is this front diff case going to cause problems in snow/sand wheelling? Any imput is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Much
