In desperate need of better flex from the bundy i dropped into 4wd connections today to speak to mark.
Currently the bundy has OME suspensions and dampner, and i recon the shocks arn't the right length neway. And everybody raves about EFS on OL so they are worth i shot i recon, they list a 3" lift kit for the bundy and when alex rang head office apperently a 4" kit is also availible now too.
Other thing is that Mark recons that 80 series arms flex better because of the type of arrangement that it attach's to the chassis?
If so would 80 seires arms flex better under the bundy if the approprite brackets were made?
Also while under the car, Is it worth putting a 5link in the ass of the bundy? Mark suggested getting a surf rear diff and chopping all the mounts off and useing those to make it with. Any problems with this?
Any body else played with their bundy suspension that much?

I've installed a 2" supension kit from Beltons (Campbellfield) in my 80.
Very happy with the ride and flex. Got the Medium duty kit for comfort as the car is driven daily with just a driver in it.
Maybe you should see what price they can do for you?
And they have the arms/panhards etc etc...

The later Bundy's have the same arms as the 80's.
Remove/disconnect your anti sway if fitted, remove the left front bolt from your front radius arm.
If you do go to the later type arm, they have an 18mm bolt, not 19 or 16.
I made 1 mount hole 18 and the other 16 and had a 19mm bolt turned down and stepped so the bush swivals on the bolt instead of being clamped between the mount by the bolt.

sell it and buy a hilux.... dont waste any more money if your not planning on keeping it.
you never get back waht you put in, so put less money in now and spend it later

ben, i might keep it now, depends once i play with the suspension i little.
Pretty sure my shocks are tooo short and also its only a shitty 3 link in the ass, mmmmmm 5link
bundy's arn't designed to flex, and yeah the sway bar is removed.
i thought cheezy was also closed to the public and only making buggies now?

if you want quick and dirty flex, just remove the very front left control arm to axle mounting bolt, and repeat on the right rear. DO NOT drive it like this on road. further gains can be had if you also loosen the remaining 3 bolts on each axle so there is no binding at the axle end of any of the control arms.
be aware that the higher you go, the less down travel you have. Bunderas don't need 4" of lift, 2 - 3 is heaps and will maintain decent articulation.
for further information on Bundera suspension and getting it to flex SEARCH, I have posted volumes on this topic.
I would not throw big money at bundera suspension, the driveline is so weak that the better it flexes the worse your breakages will become. It's hilux running gear, carrying the weight of a landcruiser (my last bundera was 2300kg with driver and fuel, no cargo). The better your flex the bigger than angles you will drive and a carby motor will leave you frustrated and stranded.
as for your shock lengths - ramp it, front, rear, and both sides (that's 4 rampings total) and measure your RTI, and the travel at each corner, then repeat the process with all the shocks disconnected. you will probably find it makes next to no difference.
