b4 i do, i wnat to lknow a few things
- is their any way to slightly detune them
- does anyone have a conversion kit 4sale
- will i have to cut the firewall wall or inner mudguards to fit the bastard
- does anyone have a big enough radiator 4sale
- do i need a different fuel pump even though its carburetted
- should i even bother as there is a high chance ill snap the diff and gearbox and stuff

i doubt you will be breaking diffs with a 253 unless you are really heavy on the left foot or just trash it up the bush. they are pretty weak engines

i drive the motor through the wall, to get any power you got to be hitting the 6,000 rpm mark. im sick of it.

I Dont drive too hard just let the torque do its job. Its driven everyday to work and back. A set of lockers are my next goal, I guess to take any speed out of the equation when offroading so I can just crawl around.

All the problems I've had to date are all on the engine (poor maintenace and old age) and the farmer who had the lux before me didnt take a lot of care with it judging by the state it was in when I started cleaning it.

I guess if you drive it like you stole it then ther might be problems.
