I put the above tec in because i didnt know where else to put it. Im not selling it but with all the buggys being built i thought some one might be keen for a $500 full hydro set up?

i don't think that ram would have the balls to push a set of tyres?

I think roc70y is right. Something designed to swivel a couple of outboards (no matter how big) won't have the grunt to push some bagged out comp tyres.

YMMV.

Yer but remember its not the ram doing the pushing, The pushing power comes from the pressure the pump is putting out. I didnt think the ram looked that small?

that ram may do the job but a larger one would definitly turn the wheels, there is a lot water pressure forcing back on the rudders on a boat and the rams handle it well.
The steering pod has a pressure releif valve fitted which enables you to keep turning the steering wheel past its lock point once the ram has reached it's full stroke, or if something was preventing it from moving (like a seized rudder shaft or a wheel stuck in a rut). The steering helm unit would have to be modified if at all possible.

My 2c.. ;)

I actually have a Orb from a boat, it didnt work, it reacts differently to what a forklift or vehicle one does. Apparantly you can get them re-calibrated but I couldnt be stuffed.

For $50 someone can have mine if they wanna try getting it calibrated.

I used to work on inboards and outboards boats for years and have fitted 100's of these units. They are fairly powerful but I wouldn't reccomend them for this type of use.

My 2 cents
