I need some new shocks and was wondering if anyone had current prices on the following:

ES9000 Procomp
Ralph
Tuff Dog
Koni
Bilstein


They need to be pin to eye.

Pro Comp ES9000 are around 140ea
I thought Ralph was a Tuff Dog model?

Rancho RS5000 $260 a pair
Rancho RS9000X $396 a pair
Tough Dog Foam Cell $400 a pair
Tough Dog Adjustable (45mm) $550 a pair
Tough Dog 'Ralph' are about $550 a pair

This is around the RRP for the aboves...

The Ralph's are Tough Dogs biggest bore shock measuring 53mm (most are 35mm). They say they're bigger, hold more oil and have a longer warranty than any other shock available. You do pay more though.

WARNING. Tough dog shocks are supposed to be excellent shocks, how ever i just bought rancho 9000's because I have been told that people are having drama's with tough dog's mainly the bigbore adjustables. if you remove the chrome shaft's rubber cover you void the warranty. and they are supposed to be bending shafts and also having a lot of leaking seals. ask around before you buy.

I hear also that guys trade in their Rancho's for the Procomps due to durability, but the way you drive you won't have that problem

Mr Giant do you have to add freight to that price for the Procomps? (We won't include the Western States in this Q)

Bilstein and Koni's are about $200each. Probably not worth the extra dollars. What lengths do you require??

The brand of shock I would recommend would depend on the vehicle and what it is used for.
For most coil sprung vehicles I would go for Dobinsons shocks and most leaf I would go for EFS shocks. These are $100 each.
