hi all, just bolted up a 33 BFG yesterday to my 3L lux. i loved the look of it,filled the guard a bit better, sat out wider
![Cool ](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
. i didnt drive it,but would 33's kill it???non turbo, would i perhaps need gearing????if not i was thinking of just going a 32x11. i have a 2"b/l,2"s/l so i figure 33's should look the part. any info would be great. i had 33x10 Bf's on my old 2LT lux,do they still make them, i was told no

All depends how much of a hurry your in
The way I figure it if you got air con and a decent stereo who cares if its a bit slow...
...But I am now fitting a turbo
Always late in a 2.8

i drive a 97 2.4l petrol with 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift
and 33" x12.50x15 maxxis mudder
they are lovely and it drives excellent even for a 2.4 petrol
i am a landscaper so i often tow a big trailer and i do not have any problems not even uphill.
i do have extractors and bigger exhaust system
go mytlux

i run 33 x 12.5x15 on mine-its turbo'd but i'm putting in 4.88 diff gears-its too doughy and over runs in low range. OK on the highway though but have to drop back on hills. You probably need to trim out the inner front guards as they'll rub off road-backs are ok just rub the paint off on the frame a bit.
ok

thanx fellas,im now thinking that ill just go a 32x11 in probly a MTR. im getting my rims flipped to so it should widen it up to be a bit safer. about 50-60mm per rim??????. i would like to fit a turbo n gearing one day if $$$ permit but ill just go smaller for now. thanks all. Bf,or goodyear,or cooper or mongrel in 32's,any ideas, also will i rub with flipped rims when steerring while flexing?
