recently blew up the spider gears in the rear diff or my 40 now i have spare open spool diffs but the crownwheel and pinion on the blown diff are perfect is it worth welding it or will i just decrease the life of the diff
cheers

Have a welded rear diff and an ARB up front on my 40 with 37' tyres for more than a year and it's holding great. Great offroad, and on the road i think it's more predictable than a Detroit (which I have in another 40). The only downside I point is tyre wear, but not a problem as i almost only use it offroad!
