comments on the Panhard bar...

Does anyone have one of these on there rig-and if so could you tell a difference or was it just wasted money??Is it worth its price $299 before shipping...

I ran one on my old ZOOK and it was well worth the effort it drive a lot better with it on.

if you keep the shackle short you probably won't really need one

but if you do make one, make sure the panhard follows the same lines (looking from the front) as the drag link to minimise binding

tis for neutral steering and minimal bump-steer, not binding....

it wont bind because of the drag-link, it will just move the pitman arm.

allthough at that angle it will load up your shackle bushes sideways lots as it travels.

looks like i may need to get a panhard bar....got to save my money...would like to put it on while my zook is still all apart.

I am running longer than stock shackles with rear springs in front no chasis extension and have not found I "need" a panhard .. never the less I think I am gunna fab one up along with a rear "torque rod" for the diff as I am SPOA .. I think a few SPUA truck could use em as well ..
