Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi I have a 3L GU patrol it is a 2001 model and has travelled 100 000km.
It has just blown a piston like a number of other GU 2000-2001's. I was just wondering if any other outer limits 4x4 members have had the same problem and the success or failer they have had with after warranty claims with nissian. What were your circumstances as far a service history and was it new or second hand.

Cant believe this was even posted most people on here bag the crap out of the 3L because of your very own problem.

Your probably a newby so before anyone really hassles you about the post let me just say your problem aint that uncommon and yes nissan do warranty's outside of its warranty period at the top of the nissan section there is a bible on GU nissan look through it and you will find numerous threads about the 3L issues/ warranty claims or the search button will bring up heaps of other information..

It just that this has been discussed so much your bound to get all the information you need.

try searching any 4wd forum.. theres only 100's of theads on it...
