Suspension lift and diffs/running gear (Vitara)

Post by Rangie Motivated »

Are there any vehicles out there that I can take the suspension out of that will give a Vitara a 2" suspension lift, or do I need to buy springs/shocks new ??

Looking under the car it seems that the box/transfer case are one unit. I was looking at putting something a bit bigger under the bonnet, I thought a 2.0L subaru might be good, but after looking under this thing I'm beginning to think it might be a case of transplanting all the running gear ?

This is a road vehicle that I'm looking at giving a bit more kick both on and off road. I will be doing all work myself and getting any need certs.

Anyone give any ideas, Isuzu big horns, Mitsubishi Pajeros and Subarus are all cheap over here, but none of them ever seem to have a motor thats not blown.

I know and was looking at hilux diffs, but I would pay more for the diffs than I would for any of the above complete.

All feedback/ flaming appreciated, I would appreciate any ideas.
