Hi guys

A mate is getin a SAS done using Snakes hi steer arms now the company doin the sas rekn the arms are no good and that they put too much load on the king pin and bearings and that under Daily driver use they will shear off.

Now how many off you are running hi steer snakes or any other form and how many run it as a daily driver?

Have you come accross any problems with the hi steer breaking or shaging out the bearings more than normal.

They are now on about makin there own arms or even a Y arm kus ORI dont exist anymore.

Can anyone shed some light cause if this is a problem then theres a lot with hi steer.

Thanks all

I've been running Snake Histeer on a daily driver for a year now. No problems so far.

I bought the setup 2nd hand, so not sure how long the previous owner ran it for.

M&M also do histeer if your looking for a different supplier. I think Superior Engineering do something as well.

i got a set of snake arms on my lux, and havnt had a prob with em so far, they are like any histeer arm the will put greater stress on the studs in the knuckle, you just gotta be watchful and keep an eye on em and make sure they are kept tight etc.

Thanks Guys

Was going to upgraed the 4 bolts in the hi steer with the bolts from FROR.

I just cant understand why they wont use the arms when evry1 else who has them rekn they are ok.

Would there be more stress than on the Y arm?

They also said the engineer they use wouldnt pass them????

Cheers

I only snapped bout 4 studs outta the knuckle but that was also cause they came loose and i never checked them either plus the front was always airborn too.

I ended up gettin the longer and poss (STRONGER :? :? )studs of snake and put them in and never had a prob after that
