Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I've been looking into ways of adjusting my speedo ('93 Pajero) for when
i run bigger tyres, but having a mechanical one is causing a problem.
Has anyone looked into the kits below? I was wondering if i could combine
both running off the ecu to show and adjusted speed to suit 33"
or 35" tyres.

Or even using a bicycle style speedo with the magnetic pickup.
BTW i don't want to adjust my factory speedo, i'd like to have a secondary
one, preferable lit (Either backlit or 7 segment style). Has anyone tryed anything like this?

You don't have the replaceable gear at the transfer end? I know NH is mechanical, but I thought someone said theirs still had the gear...

Possibly, but i still want to run 31"s for day to day and larger for play time hence the need for 2 speedos. Doesn't replacing the gear make it semi permanant?

Once you figure out how it's done it's a 5 minute job. If you're swapping the wheels back and forward the gear won't add much to the time.

But I don't know that I'd bother for weekend fun. Perhaps for longer trips...

Scott, the main reason is for when i'm driving inbetween locations to go wheeling, so as to not incur the wrath of Mr. Plod. Also for when i'm too lazy to change the wheels back after i've been out and my wife drives it

I looked into using a bicycle speedo/trip computer last night and the only calibration they need is the tyre circumference (Most allow for a circumference up to 400cm or up to ~50" tyres (If my math is correct)). So for ~$50 i get the speedo that i want, plus all the trip computer functions, plus most of them allow for 2 wheel sizes that you can choose when swapping wheels. They work with the magnet and read switch setup (The wireless ones don't have the range), so as long as i can get it attached, for $50 i think it's a pretty good option.
