Hi guys,
Slunnie said to me that you have expiriance with this:
is it simplier to fit series rover body onto rangie chassis or fiting rangie's parts on series chassis(including axels,coils,gbox,engine etc..) is less complicated routine?

Depends what you want to do. There are complications (depending on your level of skill in both ways)
Im doing the 100' hybrid option as it is exactly what i want. 88' WB is too short, 109 is too long IMO for what I do, in my conditions.
TO convert series chassis, you need a chassis that is in good condition (mine is not, hence new chassis). Biggest issue is front control arm mounts, as they interfere with the chassis outrigger. I have seen a few different mount ideas - one cutting the outrigger to fit the mount, and one a custom mount underneath.
Rear is fairly simple, not all that much custom stuff.
If your happy with your current truck, convert to coils.
I am choosing to rebuild mine witha new chassis making sure everything else is ok ect.
I have just had a new burst of enthusiasm (
) so my chassis is about to get done. I have been slowly collecting parts.

It also depends on the regulations in your part of the world, if you can do whatever you want as far as modifications go then swap the body onto the rangie chassis. If the regs are tight then start with a good chassis and fabricate new mounts to suit the rangie suspension components.

If your not planning to change the suspension setup of the RR, as in you plan to keep all the RR suspension links exactly the same then swap the body.
only reason I did it the other way round was the only part of the RR chassis I wasn't going to cut off and change was the coil seats.
If you use a RR chassis and driveline then put a series body onto it would be easier

I have 2 older brothers, one hase done the 100 inch landy (rebodied rangie) the other has done the drive-line transplant (the 109)
The main difference is years of the chassies and amount of laws they have to complie with (81 and 67 i think)
Both are as capable as each other and both took alot of work.
If you were thinking of doing a body swap, find a stage-one (V8 leafer) because it has a long bonnet and the floor is ready for the LT95, as is the bulk-head, or a defender body.
If that proves too hard to find or costly, build a tunnel to suit, it just won't look the same.
