yeah it should, i did the 1ltr onto an 800
the only thing should be changing the feul pump and dizzy on the back,
and have a look at the front of the head where the timing belt goes. the 800cc is about an inch longer only in the body, by this I mean it has an extra bit on the front, but the shaft is the same overall length so the belt does line up.
ok so what I'm getting at is the 800cc may not fit behind the timing belt cover on a 1lt
as the 1ltr did not reach to the timing belt cover, i tried to drill hole and get the little studs to hold the cover, but they were a bit short, so I hacksawed them off.
aparently you may get a bit more compression, but I didn't notice a power loss from the 1ltr onto the 800cc
and as for a carby. I only have an 800cc one on it with a kn filter straight on the side, it also has extractors and a 2 inch and the car goes pretty hard now. but it is only an 800cc.
hope this helps!
