What cruiser and what hilux are we talking about?
40 and 60 series cruisers run -25mm offset and fit on solid axle hilux, tho the front caliper goes very close. I think the 15x8 ROH hilux offset was -25 as well but they had slightly different centre which gave more caliper clearance, but last time I checked ROH had dropped this from their range so you can only get the Cruiser ones anyway.

Later cruisers (80 series on) run zero offset wheels and will not fit on solid axle hilux(front calipers foul badly), but should fit on IFS hilux.

I had an old set of sunnies i bought 2nd hand from an early solid axle hilux and took em down to get tyres fitted, they fitted em all up until they tried to turn the front wheel and it didnt because they fouled on the brakes so I had to buy some new sunnies and they told me that they were Cruiser offset and they fit fine. Wanting to know as I am looking at buying another set of 2nd hand tyres and dont want to end up with rims i cant use :(

And the fact that I have hub spacers would solve my problem too wouldn't it?
