need a 97 frontera performance computer chip 4 more power,

hi,my girls car is a dog on the road,it needs a heap more power,can you get performance chips for the 2l opel motors??

Im not aware of any performance chips available, if your seeking more power i would recommend u take out the pre muffler and change the big muffler to less restrictive sports type. It made a heap of difference on mine -better throttle response and more power, alot better to drive.

Hey HI 75.. i own the white frontera with blue neons that gets around newy time to time.. my msn is
mbucko35@hotmail.com ... if u need a little more power i found the pod i put on did a lot.. and also.. mine is the 2l and i have no problems with power.... LOL.. SEE YA v6 Prado.. ehehehehehehehehehe

my mum has a frontera and found it really sluggish so she has put extractors on and a 2 1/2 inch sports system and got it dyno tuned it go's hell of a lot better. the only thing is its really noisy.

I wouldn't run a pod, they are very noisey, and only pick up hot air from the engine bay.
You will be better of running silicone or rubber hose from the airbox to throttlebody, and getting rid of the convoluted stuff, and fitting a performance air filter to the box.

Deffinatley. Have driven a few with pods on them only, no other work, and apart from the noise, they went the same, or maybe worse.

Pretty sure the 4Runner on 33's and the standard V6 left ya for dead up the Moonbi ranges last year going to Rover Park
