Hey guys,
drive a LN106 Hilux with a rear Lock Rite Installed.
Notice an odd problem where the car seems to be really twitchy on a straight road. Then it felt funny that it was so easy to wheel spin at the traffic lights.
And finally realised then the car seems to run on 1 wheel when i tried to drive up the lawn.
So what do u guys suspect is the problem? A broken axle? A broken Lock Rite? Coz it feels like the right side only recieves power.
I havent open it yet.
The funny bit is the car has not seen a single bit of offroad action when it was installed 10 years ago and probably done less than 25000km. Total mileage is 55000km.
If it's a broken lock rite what could it be?
I did a search everyone says the springs is a weak problem.
Anyway bottom line i'm from Malaysia. So is there anyone in here is a Lock Rite dealer/ specialist? At least i know where to source and order parts if necessary from Oz as my uncle is there for the Commonwealth Games.
Sigh.
