As your in UK, I don't think any LC's were kitted with factory LSD. Anyway, you can try source a factory LSD from an 80 series...including axle.
Alternatively, go for a new or recon ARB air locker, far better than LSD anyway!!

hi,
your sig line says
1993 Landcruiser 70 2.5 TD
but there is no 2.5 litre turbodiesel 70 series unless you have fitted another engine - it is either a 2.4 litre 2L-T(E or II) or a 3 litre 1KZ-T(E).
gotoy is right - if the vehicle does not have a factory LSD (I would be surprised if it didn't already though!), your best option is a locker of some description.
gotoy is wrong - the LSD out od an 80 series will not fit - the light duty 7x series "landcruisers" have an 8" rear differential like a hilux - a hilux LSD will in fact fit although there may be some playing around with carrier bearing sizes.

it would be illegal to badge a 2447 as 2.5 litre here.
80 series diffs are all 4.1:1 ratio, yours are probably 4.556:1 or 4.875:1 - you can check the ratio by reading the 'axle' code off the build plate on the firewall.

Yeah, same axles as hilux, the offset types.
Better this guy goes for the ARB locker, I heard the LSD is not so good.

Does anyone on know if that series of Bundera was released here in OZ?
If yes does anyone know where I can get some parts from one of them, especially dash components, front guards, radiator support, apron and bonnet?
