Marine Battery

Can I run a Exide Marine battery as the main and only battery in a Sierra??

I would love to get a yellow top ut they are costy. Wht about the oddiseys??? are they expensice as well???

search for fullriver batteries. A really good agm alternative at a much more realistic price

Marine batteries are typically better constructed than a standard automotive battery.

Yes! You can run a marine battery all day every day - no expected problems, as long as the CCA and 20-hr rate is equivalent or higher (as with any battery you choose to put in).

Odyssey dry cells are awesome, but very expensive compared to a standard flooded lead acid.

Some of the deep cycle / starting hybrids (such as the Overlander / Caterpillar Calcium batteries etc) are a bit easier on the pocket, and are the best of both worlds.
