hey boyz wanna fit 35z under a 75s troopy, have done a search but only found stuff on 60s. do the same rules apply as a troopy or what ?

dont really wanna do a body lift just spring. whats your thoughts hows it done.

there was a thread here about 35's on 75's, but i can't find it either, which is a shame coz there is a few cool looking troopies on there.

you 'could' put 35's under there by having decent enought spring lift, but you will have to extend your bumpstops if you don't want it to scrub. i have about 3 and a bit inches and my 32 inch tyres scrub at full flex so theres an indication.

it's a bit of a bugger doing the body lift on mine as i have front and rear bars and pto winch which will take a fair bit of stuffing about (read - expensive) so i know where you are coming from.

I imagine the FJ73 is very similar
I had 33's on mine with 2" spring lift and they scrubbed on the inner guard wall but then so did the set of 265/75 16's (on splits) I had on for a while
the rear guard well is very narrow and it won't matter if you lift the body it will still scrub the same spot when the wheel comes up on an angle at full flex...but it's not the edge of a panel or anything it doesn't make any noise it just leaves marks ....don't worry about it

the standard cheese cuttters are close to 33", but much thinner, a 2" spring lift should fit the 35s fine. I had one go through the other day that looked fine with this combo, but I didnt check bump stops etc sorry

This is mine on 35" BFG Muds. 2" Ironman lift. Front diff moved 30 mm forward by redrilling spring perches and bottom spring plates. Rubs a little on the rear part of the guard on full suspension compression. Just like Homer, the tyre rubs and leaves a black mark but no metal damage. The rear has no problems with rubbing. Planning to install wheel arch flares someday.

I have a 75 series ute. I have just gone down this path. I lifted mine with springs etc by 3" which was not enough to get the tyres on without scrubbing on turns. I then did a 3 inch body lift. I am fairly sure you will fit the 35's on with just a 3" bodylift which is a fairly cheap fix.
It does however turn it into a mean looking truck and well worth the expense!!

with any increase in tyres you will get scrubbing unless you do a body lift or cut the guards.
