My understanding is solid fairleads (hawse fairleads?) are only suitable for plamsa (rope). What's the advantage of a roller over a hawse fairlead then? I assume there's a great deal less resistance when pulling at angles, anything else?
My rollers are getting that way too. Need to be rebushed.saigo
