Skinny,
Awesome truck, they have the biggest chassis in the business, 4000kg tow rating, 1500kg in the tray, and get about 27mpg. You can chip the Td5 to 170 Kwatts and 500Nm, and STILL get 25+ Mpg.
Easy to lift, easy to mod, excellent off road, and a perfect tourer.
JUST BUY IT

Im thinking of upgrading my disco v8 (or is that downgrading) to one of these after uni so I can do some decent trips without towing a fuel tanker behind me. From my reading these are the ideal touring machine, just need a bit of work to make them more comfy. But being young I may be able to hack it although the disco has softened me up a bit
.
Does the 2000 model still have the salisbury rear or has this got the weaker rover one?
