Well I thought it was time I found out what sort of power the feroza was putting out. So I decided I would take it up to beenleigh for a dyno and show'n'shine comp.
The runs were done in shootout mode, 1st full run was 69hp@ the wheels and the 2nd run was 72.3hp@ the wheels
I'm very happy with that and I'll post up the dyno graph tomorrow
I was running my stock 215/75r15's
Anyone know what horsepower i'd have at the flywheel

Nice one man!
Good to see the Roza on the dyno
Most dyno's can get that reading straight off the computer
Taxable Hp is often calculated by:
taxable horsepower = bore^2 x cylinders / 2.5
and others some say around 20% of Hp is taxed... Its all affected by the driveline.. diffs, gearboxes, clutches, tyres.. u name it.. You shoulda tried it in 4WD!

holy crap feroza's are gutless :(
thats only 54kw at the wheels.
Do you have any other mods?
exhaust?
air intake?
do you have the black box on the motor?

From memory the Roza's about 72KW at the flywheel. Mine ended up with 47KW at the wheels ( in 2WD ). That's with off road rubber which doesn't help - but the losses are typical for a 4WD and would be even worse in 4WD mode.
Some simple mods got another 9KW at the wheels - but they certainly arn't racers.

The black box will limit peak horsepower, but will improve midrange torque. The torque curve is really more relevant in a heavy car fitted with a small engine.

I've got the full exhaust upgrade
Lukey headers and full 2 1/4inch sports exhaust.
Replacement group N unifilter airfilter.
Yes I have the black box

James what were the mixtures like when you had it dynoed (or weren't they checked?) I noticed the AFR column on the right but no curve?
If what I've read is true, they overfuel at high revs / flat throttle and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (to make it a bit leaner) could yield more HP.

Can't realy help you there david.
The guy played round with the computer for a bit before the first pull then must've made some minor changes before the second run.
If anyones interested in seeing some video footage of mine on the dyno, let me know. I'll try and get it onto the computer at some stage.

i have to remember to put mine on the dyno before i turbo it, get a before and after comparison.
i've nearly got all the bits, having trouble finding the i/c core i want.

Can you post the dyno printout?
