Hello Kev,
can you work out what colour codes are on the springs ? The OE springs have some small paint splashes on them. Heavy duty Defenders should be blue/red for the drivers side, and yellow/white for the passanger side, 15.3" and 14.8" free length respectively, 225lb/in and 8 coils. For a nearly complete list of springs, including some aftermarket ones go here http://members.shaw.ca/jbarge/springinfo.html
FWIW, my 130 with a bull bar, winch, side bars/steps, etc. had @61-64mm between the bumstops. It now sports 114mm thanks to Rangie Spares 220lb/in-17" free length (purple) springs.

G'day rick thanks for your reply cant make out the colors on the springs but my bump stop clearance is similar to yours.I'm looking at changing the front springs as they are way to heavy like hitting a cats eye is like running over a mini.Would you recommend the rangie spares springs :?:

Cheers Kev :)

Kev, I haven't had their springs in for long, but so far they've been fine, no sudden 'taking a set' or any garbage like that, and they gave me the outcome I wanted for my truck. Best bet is to talk to Andrew at Rangie Spares, ph 03 9464 4094. He will ask what your current bump stop clearances are and what you want to do and make a recommendation. I knew what rate and free length I was after to give me a certain loaded height, but Andrew still asked these questions to confirm that it would be OK before they shipped the springs.
