where is my fuse box?

I have a toyota surf import version 1985 model turbo diesel and can't find the fuse box anywhere? can someone point me in the right direction..thanks in advance..
if the surf is any thing like a hilux's should be under the dash and some in the engine bay
i will ask a guy at work he has a gen 1 surf
