Help required ASAP -- wheel cylinder seals MQ Patrol

G'day guys,

I need to replace the leaking seals on the wheel cylinder in my MQ tomorrow or Thursday at the latest as I'm going away this weekend and towing a camper, so I want my brakes working properly.

Guy at Top Ryde Nissan spare parts department said Nissan doesn't have any stock left and put me onto a brake guy at Ryde. They can supply the whole cylinder with plungers etc for $25 but I've been told it could be a bastard to get the old one out. But I've also been told it should be a relatively simple job so I dunno who to believe  Especially seeing as the nay-sayer drives a 40 and the green light guy drives a Disco (both sickos in my mind:D).

Anyway anyone know where I can get the seals themselves from? Or is it just as easy to get this cylinder and swap over.

Cheers Brendan

Forgot to say it needs to be in western Sydney somewhere!

Im guessing for the rear drums. Buy them complete. Might pay to check who has em in stock, may be an order in item.

Cheers

Definetly get new cylinders. Not worth the stuffing around rekitting old cylinders.

Cheers for that. I know it's probably a basic q to you blokes but I haven't had to do it before. That's what I like about the Patrol -- every broken part is a learning process :D
