Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have a 100 Series Standard Diesel (Solid Front Axil) and my friend has an 80 series Wagon. We both want more front travel. He has a 2 Inch coil lift happening and so I need to catch up.

To give me a coil lift I've found this:

Toyota Landcruiser 50mm lift coils plus shockers,
suit 80 Series wagon, $355

And have two questions:

1) Does anyone know if the above 80 series coil lift would fit my 100?

2) What can be done to give more front end travel, I've heard the Haultech GQ radius arm bushes might be the go as they are the same as 80/100 series.

80 & 100 run the same suspension. if you want travel make sure the shocks are long enough. front sway bar will restrict travel.
sorry don't know about haultech bushes.
Is that $355 for front coils & shocks [must be s/hand] ?

Heard from Tewantin mob that the 80 series coils will not fit a 100 series, which contradicts Johnz post.

They also said that 100 Series have different rating coils based on the engine type. $350 was second hand as the owner upgraded to higher coil lift.

Ruff can hook me up with a set of 4 bushes but is not 100% if they fit a 100 series.

I have the option to check out the same vehicle with a 3" lift, but am not sure if it is coil or chassis (assume chassis). It'll cost me about $750 to do this.

I sold my 80s 1yr ago and took the springs and shocks out and bolted it all into my 100sRFS.Whoever told you they dont fit maybe ment they have different spring rates.

I bought a 4" lift and on the box it definately was for both the 80 and 100 series. They said there was no difference. Obviously as long as the 100 is solid axle.

I'd say the guy who said you can't fit 80 series gear into a 100 must have thought that I had IFS not solid axil.

So I'm researching Dobinson shocks (www.dobinsonsprings.com) and Lovells coils for 3". I figure I rather pay a little more for new shocks and 3" lift (better than 2").

I've got lovells in my 80, the ride is now heaps better than stock

Ive got a set of dobson coils 4" with tough dog big bore adjustable shocks & they work really well on & off road
