The weights were what I was told, I haven't actually weighed them. I could be out 20-30 kg each end, but I doubt whether it would be much more than that. FWIW I measured how much my suspension dropped with both of them in the back (curiousity only, after geting the mofos into the back if the Kia), it was about 1.9" with 225lb/inch springs in the rear, makes a best guess estimate of ~400 kg for the two (about what I was told). The rest was an eyeball split of the weight difference between the two.

By all means if you have the facilities to accurately weigh them individually please do and I'll pull my head in.............

something doesn't sound right here..
a pait of unimog 404 axles with all the torque tube stuff included on a pallet weighs in at 500kg...
i can't see the nissan stuff being anywhere near that..

i reckon itd be pretty close to 100, after moving them around a few times theyre farkin heavy. i pulled out mulls rear MQ centre and under the car it was definately a two hand job to let it down to the ground (i reckon it would have been 30 kilos)

surely to give yourself a rough idea, you could see how many times and how far the batheroom scales go round to give you a rough weight,

nice, but if the diffs are around 200kg's the scales should only get close to going twice round, so it would be a fir indication, unless he is using digital scales, that go out on error

Used a bobcat to lift the mogs off the trailer, 2 of us tried to lift them off the trailer, but when we felt our insides trying to shoot out our ass  ....
We managed to drag them along the floor though :)

Huh - mine on the pallet with both torque tubes, 2x spare knuckles, 2X spare portal boxes and steering linkages was 795kg.......and I have the danged invoices ta prove it :(.

Not saying I don't believe ya, cause I just rated the mogs as "bloody heavy", but something don't add up.......but that could be the shipping company just ripping me of a bit more ;)

LOL had all sorts of fun getting them off the back of my ute by myself - ended up just using the engine crane & it worked a treat - except it kept sinking into my cobbled driveway so it was baby-steps ;)

Once down they roll quite nicely on those big drums..... :P
