rear disc brake conversion

ive found a front end of a mq how hard would it be to put the disc's and calipers etc on the back so that i had disc brakes all round info and pics would be appreciated thanks
p.s i shat myself after i went through a river and up a steep hill climb and pumped the brakes and nothing happened!!!!!!

If only life was that easy
Ofcourse you can "do it", but your braking will be WORSE than it currently is, reason being that the large fronts fitted to the rear axle will overpower the front brakes so much that they will simply lock the rears up and leave little braking in the front.
You can overcome this by adding in a brake proportioning valve ....... if you can get the right one that is.
For a disc brake conversion have a wander through the "Bible" in particular DrFrankenstiens thread about his disc brake conversion...... he used commodore discs and calipers .......

Sweet, thanks.
So, Screwy mentions that it has been done with other calipers and dics. Anyone know what ones? I'd like to do it, but I would prefer to not have to machine or redrill discs. I'd love to just make up a plate and bolt it onto the axel, slot the dics on then bolt the caliper to it and drive away.
