Fuel Tank

G'day , I'm a relatively new owner of a 96 SJ80 Sierra and keen to persue some off the beaten track touring by myself. But..fuel capacity is my quondary. Is there such a thing available as a Long Range after market fuel tank? Cheers.

yes im pretty sure you can get them from arb, or most long range tank manufatures. most people will custom make one if they dont sell them off the shelf. otherwise carry jerrys.

Most long range tanks are stronger, less prone to damage by rocks, etc. And the shape is less likely to hang up on stuff.
ARB sell Long Ranger brand.
Brown Davis do some.

most of them seem to carry 75 litres so nearly double the range.
