Howdy guys,

Just got a quick question regarding Pro Comp Tyres!

I thinking off purchasing a set off ProComp X-Terrain 35/12.5/15

for my GQ.

Are they any good? would luv some feed back!

Got another question regarding my GQ, Is it safe to remove the rear

stabiliser bar, I only ask because ive manage to strip one off the little

damm bolts!

Thanks Guys!
Ben.

x terrains arnt the best,

Id go for either Goodyear mtrs or bfgoodrich mt's or those new silverstones look sweet.

Get rid of both swaybars you dont need them.

If u want it roadworthy then leave them on but seen u are getting 35s then spose u arnt worried.

I HAVE HEARD GOOD REPORTS ON THE X TERRAIN EXCEPT FOR WHEN IT COMES TO MUD, BUT APPARENTLY VERY GOOD ON THE BITUMEN. I WAS CONSIDERING THEM BEFORE I GOT THE CLAWS  . MOST BRANDS HAVE THEIR PRO'S & CONS, SOME MORE OF ONE THAN THE OTHER. EACH TO THEIR OWN I SAY. PM PROCOMPMAN MAYBE, HE HAS A GQ WITH THEM ON.

Xterrians are only a better AT, bit like coppers ST or ST-C. As a general tyre I dont think they are anyworse then the others.
Have heard they lack a bit of grip on high speed dirt. And they want be as good in the mud as a muddy, going by the look of the tread pattern. But have seen them work on rock and they are good there.

I think they would be a good alround tyre.

But I have never driven a car with these, this is all from what I have read or seen.

I have a near new set of 285/75/16 Xterrains, They seem very good at most things a normal muddy is good at. I have had BFG Muddies, All Terrains and Goodyear MTRs and as far as offroad and general highway driving, they beat the MTRs hands down. I went away from the BFG's due to several sidewall failures on pretty pissweak gravel on dirt roads.
