how to remove clutch?- LN61

Post by ash_on_mtb »

How do I get the clutch off the flywheel...?? The gearbox came off after a few dozen tins and a lot of :bad-words: , as we've never done it before, but getting the clutch pack off, is it a matter of undoing the bolts around the outside, and then knocking the centre? Someone mentioned something about that, but I didn't understand it. Its late and it all seemed a little troubling so if someone could let me know where to start, would be great.

cheers.

the clutch is clamped between the pressure plate and the flywheel. There will be a ring of bolts holding the pressure plate to the flywheel. Undo them slowly and evenly, and the pressure plate and clutch will both come off.
