Troopy bullbar

Post by GUHOON »

Hi guys , just a quick question.
Will an ARB steel winch bar off a leaf sprung 88 troopy fit a 2000 model coil sprung troopy.
I spoke to OOT4WD and they said they are different part numbers but i might be able to modify to suit.
Anyone got any ideas?????

check the distance between your chassis rails, and the distance between the bullbar mounts.. if close, you may be able to do something fairly easily

A bullbar to suit a 2000 model coil sprung troopy (fairly sure the p/n was the same at time of purchase) fits my 87 model troopy :P

HOWEVER the bar is slightly wider than the body. I'm not sure if the '88 bar would be narrower than mine.

I'm pretty sure mine was a new release when i brought it a year-and-a-bit ago. A few months after i brought it they released another new one with the jack cut-outs in it (i was pissed, i want jack cut-outs!)

If it's cheap and looks ok, go for it!

Anyway, what's the old girl doing driving a troopy whilst you put around in your girly nissan? :finger:
