What is the biggest tyre/rim size that would fit a 1990 4Runner SR5 with no flairs, standard rims ATM are 16 x 6 chromies.
Should I go for 15" or 16"????
Want to keep same rolling diamater

What, if any lift do you have, body and shocks etc.

Standard, you should be able to fit 31" and possible 32".

Better stay with your 16" rims.

It has a 2", mayby 3" lift, It looks stupid with its standard rims, as I want to do some sand driving I want to go wider.

Then 32" no problem. You may even be able to squeeze 33" on.

Meaning stock 29" tyres? I personally wouldn't bother. Go up to a 31" on 15 or 16" rims.
