thanks but wrong winch for a different vehicle

this is what the add said and its in nz not in aust

this is an excellent working winch, heavy duty, comes complete with the hardwear to bolt onto your gearbox, WILL NOT fit the 4.2 Safari as these have a different gearing end,

I reckon they would be worth at least $1000

God damn you got expensive PTOs there!?
Ive got Toyotas winch at PTO, I removed original cable system and builded an link system so I can roll winch in&out by sitting in car.

Last I checked you could still buy them from Nissan, both the MQ and GQ PTO's...including winch. I checked at a dealership in S.America 2 years ago when I was down there.

Both were beyond expensive, like in the $2-3k range and that was USD.

I would say you can fetch an easy grand for it in Australia. I will give ya $200usd plus shipping though. :D

I would use the pto instead of a electric.

Hi dude,

I understood where u were coming from but was more looking into the GQ not the MQ as i heard they were more common and then found out later that they dont adapt anyway so thats why. Plus over in nz when i was there last year for the kiw challenge everyone has PTO which makes the demand alot less and that reflects the price as well.

but thanks for the link anyway seem like a few people prefer the PTO maybe worth keeping if i can get the right price for it.
