Outer Limits 4x4 Board

well i hooked up the warn low mount winch this arvo as i was told, but it doesn't seem to be working properly,so i need some help. assuming the cable comes from the bottom of the drum (is this correct) when i press winch out the winch wants to wind in, but then when pressing out on the controller only the solenoid clicks then nothing happens. Maybe the wires are hooked up wrong or it is missing a wire, but any help would be appreciated. also the winch has no freespool lever is this a problem

My XD9000 has an negative leed bolted on the winch motor, on the opposite side of the motor to the 3 terminals with nuts, It goes direct to the negative terminal of the battery NOT to the engine block, chasis or body.

r u sure thats a warn, the gearbox looks like a T-Max, Brawn, Ox, ebay winch etc

i think so, the cover for the solanoids has a big w on it, but i think it's pretty old as the w isn't red
